Speak

Speak

Good Afternoon,

It’s a pleasure and a blessing to speak with you again. This message has been in my spirit to write for a while now and I’m glad to finally have a chance to share it with you. Many times in this day and age we don’t realize how the things we watch, listen, and repeat are influencing our lives. Proverbs 18:21 states, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. Many times the media influences our dialect. We verbally repeat our favorite song and are often oblivious to the life or death we are speaking into our lives by repeating what hear or see. Entertainment has become such a manipulative tool for the enemy because we are blinded to how he uses it to his advantage. We have to become wiser in our choice of words and what we repeat. The bible states, “He that hath knowledge spareth his words:  a man of understanding is of an excellent spirit. Your words are an activating force that moves things in your life. Great caution and emphasis must be placed on the wise usage of words, so that we don’t give the enemy room to navigate in our lives due to our lack of knowledge or careless actions. Every moment doesn’t warrant a response, but it’s often better to remain silent in certain moments. Every word you speak releases something in your life for which you will be held accountable for according to Matthew 12: 36-37. Remember how you reference yourself & others; what you repeat, and whatever you may decide to speak will always affect your life.

Remember Me

Remember Me

Inspired by Sarah A. Taylor

I’m a very big advocate of leaving a legacy. It’s amazing how God can turn a heart breaking moment into a life elevating moment. As my mother left this world to hold her place in heaven. Holy Spirit began to minister to me. I watched her as she prayed relentlessly and sought God in the midst of all she was going thru. I found it outstanding that she never took her eyes off him and her faith was elevated in him. Many times we make excuses about why we can’t give God our best. I came to tell you if only we could demonstrate the faith my mother had what a world of difference we could make today. What we must understand is we have to be an example at all times in our lives as we walk with God. We can’t justify short comings, we can’t indulge in things just because we are allowed grace, we can’t neglect people for personal fame & gain, and we can’t play with the world while making kingdom claims. The latter part of 1 Timothy 4:12 reads, “be thou an example of the believers in word, in converstation, in spirit, in faith, in purity. In order to reach this generation and go in hand to hand combat with the enemy we must give God our best. Your converstation of the kingdom should proceed you, Holy Spirit should lead you, your faith should never leave you, and your heart & body should be pure within you. There will come a day when we all will have an account to settle but what will your example say? Will you be an example in the storm as well as the sunshine? Let’s give God our best!!! Let’s prepare for some real kingdom building!!! Whatever you have to do to let go of so that you can stand in the threshold as an example of the Believers then be bold and encouraged to do so for he is with you. The reward of a real believer and the footsteps of a real example don’t come be easy because the price is great but the rewards are plentiful.
