Wonderful life
Good evening,
I know it has been
a while since my last message but I wanted to give everyone a chance to enjoy
the holiday season as well as reflect on the old messages. Many times we need
to look back in order to move forward in the sense of making sure we learn and
understood the lessons of the past. As this year comes to a close I wanted to touch
on a few words that you can carry over to the New Year.
1. Solitude: many
times we feel so afraid to be alone because of our on insecurities and often
due to the thoughts of others. Solitude is necessary in the midst of all the
chatter we hear daily and the movement of life at some point you either have to
place yourself in solitude or god will do it for you. However either way is
necessary in order for you to hear the direction of your life and see the
present state of yourself so that you can ask for revelation of the future. Never
be afraid of being alone because you never really are alone, but we often
subject ourselves to that thought. Remember you’re only as strong as your
thoughts.
2. Respect; this word
right here is so powerful in many ways but the principle of it apply to our
lives in so many ways. I tell you the revelation I received about the fruit of
respect totally blew my mind. I understand that respect is the key to your life
because what you respect, who you respect, and respecting yourself will produce
fruit such as love, trust, loyalty, understanding, communication, and many
more. You may be wondering hmmmmm in your mind but let me bring this home for
you. If you respected your mate in your relationship then would you cheat on
her or him? If you respect the temple of your body would you put anything in
it? If you respect your parents and what they have done for you would you think
twice about certain decision just out of respect for them? I’m sure you
probably answered yes to those which are evidence in the importance of respect.
3. Vision; Wow vision
is mandatory in every way possible. Many times we get wrapped in what others
think and how the world says we should be so we tend to really lose focus of
who we are and where we want to go in life. I’m here to tell you from
experience you can only be what you envision and you can only conquer want you
envision. There is one key part to vision and that is to make sure you seek the
proper vision for the destiny of your life. Everyday continuously ask for
vision of your life and even when people may think you’re crazy just remember
your life story isn’t for others to understand.
4. Relationships; Many
of us spend so much time in toxic relationships and in return we get bitter,
guarded, and etc. However understand sometimes the things we deal with are self-inflicted
because you know how you want to be treated. However we tend to stay in these situations
and they cost us more time besides the initial invested time because you have
to factor in the recovery time and whatever emotional or mental scars we may
suffer. We have to learn to be wiser in our mates we choose as well as learning
how to learn the lessons from past situations and leaving the toxic of it
behind. You can’t accept what may be right before you if you’re focused on the
toxic of your past. WE have also have to become better men and women so that
the kids coming up can see more families staying together and true love instead
of just a momentary thing. The truth is we can’t expect this generation or the
next to get better if we never give them something great to model their lives
after.
5. Embrace; as this
year as came and almost gone one of the most important things I learned
personally was the importance of embracing your struggle. Whatever your situation
it doesn’t change until you are willing to admit your flaws, your feelings
about the situation, and then ask for help from your heavenly father. Tears don’t
move anything but admitting and asking can conquer the highest mountain. After
all how can you make it through tomorrow if you aren’t willing to accept and
overcome the challenges of today? You are strong enough so keep pushing your
life is waiting on you.
6. Humble; you know I have
really grown to understand the word humble and the elevation that is tied to
it. Now a day we see so many boastful people and things but all that isn’t necessary.
Your swag as they say today isn’t something that needs to be on display is just
a makeup of who you are. Let people see who you are there is no need to boast
it when you’re secure with it. You will find that having a humble mindset and
heart takes you much farther than anything else will in this life and it will
also draw people closer to you. People respond to compassion and caring of one
person to another. I say to you carry a humble spirit for you never know who
your life is tied to.
7. Mirage; to my
ladies and fellows please stop falling for these mirages of reality from what
you hear in music and see on t.v. Live
your life in tune with purpose for it is purpose that brings reality and
reality will set for revelation to be exalted into your destination in life.
All this stuff will come and go no matter how much of it you have so focus on
the substance within yourself. If you master you than that’s the greatest gift
you will ever receive and all things will come. Just do the dirty work on
becoming a better you...
8. Focus: focus on
yourself and set goals for yourself. Anybody can just be a part of something
but it takes a courageous individual to be different. When you better yourself
and strive for a goal then it brings people around that will encourage you to
succeed and exposes those who have been a hindrance to you. This will only
happen when you decide to stop making excuses and take charge of your life. What
we become and what we achieve will always come down to the person in a mirror
but also know you become a mixture of the company you keep around you.
9. Role Model: Hmmm
this is probably going to be touchy for some of you but like it or not you are
role models to someone. Kids have this way I just picking someone to feel this
void based of what they perceive. In this day and time a good role model is
something we surely lack in our communities. We have to do a better job of
presenting our youth with the proper information on how to be men and women. We
can’t continue to hit the clubs with them, drinking with them, and etc. we have
to give them a sense of accountability to be held at a higher level of manhood
and womanhood.
10. Wonderful life: In
has been my pleasure to inspire, motivate, and even at times ruffle some
feathers in 2012 with you. At the end of it all just remember be humble, be
grateful, love hard, seize the moment, dismiss fear, and conquer the life you
envision for yourself. Just know the most wonderful life that can ever be lived
will only be done with the assistance of god so make sure he is your rock through
actions in your life.
