Boxed In
Good
Morning,
How
are you guys doing? I know it has been a while since I wrote a message to you,
but we do such powerful calls on Sunday nights so I wanted to switch it up for
you guys. However I’m excited to write for you guys again and I pray it helps
someone. Many times we get so caught up in our goals and what we want for our
lives that we begin to box ourselves into a mold we may never fit. In reality
what we are doing is boxing ourselves in and limiting ourselves to our plans
instead of embracing God’s plan. In
Jeremiah 29:11 it reads, “ For I
know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper
you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” We have to be
wise in the things we seek to do and begin to consult God on what he will have
us to do and align ourselves with those plans. As bad as you may want to
accomplish what you decided to do one must understand that God knows the
desires of your heart and his plan will fulfill his purpose while also
fulfilling your desires. His word states in Matthew 6:33 “But seek first his
kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as
well.” Often we get convinced that in order to do certain things our way is the
best way, but this is the trick of the enemy. There is absolutely no way that
you can cut corners because God will always be in charge. We cause ourselves so
much stress, heartache, and disappointment simply because we won’t submit our
talents and lives to his purpose for our lives. Let me be the first to tell you
I’m one of the most versatile and ambitious men you will ever meet but what God
has done in my life has amazed me. I have seen is glory in the works he has
given myself and those around me to do. I have witnessed his glory in prophecy!
I have witnessed his glory in healing! I have witnessed his glory in love! I
have witnessed his execution in kingdom business! I have seen him bring faith
and hope! I have seen the fruits of the spirit encourage, inspire, uplift, and
direct the lives of others. It’s a life of total fulfillment and in return his
reward has far exceeded the expectations of what my mind can even begin to
imagine. Today is your day to begin a new mind and a new life. A life of
endless possibilities and without limits so as you read this message stop
boxing yourself and God by the plans you have set for yourself. God isn’t into
conflict of interest so he will not touch things until you take your hands off
things. He is a God of order and simplicity. Please understand your life is a
script that has been written years before you ever made the scene in this
world. However you have a choice either you can live outside the script and
stumble through life or you can live and become your script to live a life that
only God can direct.
