Wonderful Life

Wonderful life

Good evening,

I know it has been a while since my last message but I wanted to give everyone a chance to enjoy the holiday season as well as reflect on the old messages. Many times we need to look back in order to move forward in the sense of making sure we learn and understood the lessons of the past. As this year comes to a close I wanted to touch on a few words that you can carry over to the New Year.

1. Solitude: many times we feel so afraid to be alone because of our on insecurities and often due to the thoughts of others. Solitude is necessary in the midst of all the chatter we hear daily and the movement of life at some point you either have to place yourself in solitude or god will do it for you. However either way is necessary in order for you to hear the direction of your life and see the present state of yourself so that you can ask for revelation of the future. Never be afraid of being alone because you never really are alone, but we often subject ourselves to that thought. Remember you’re only as strong as your thoughts.

2. Respect; this word right here is so powerful in many ways but the principle of it apply to our lives in so many ways. I tell you the revelation I received about the fruit of respect totally blew my mind. I understand that respect is the key to your life because what you respect, who you respect, and respecting yourself will produce fruit such as love, trust, loyalty, understanding, communication, and many more. You may be wondering hmmmmm in your mind but let me bring this home for you. If you respected your mate in your relationship then would you cheat on her or him? If you respect the temple of your body would you put anything in it? If you respect your parents and what they have done for you would you think twice about certain decision just out of respect for them? I’m sure you probably answered yes to those which are evidence in the importance of respect.

3. Vision; Wow vision is mandatory in every way possible. Many times we get wrapped in what others think and how the world says we should be so we tend to really lose focus of who we are and where we want to go in life. I’m here to tell you from experience you can only be what you envision and you can only conquer want you envision. There is one key part to vision and that is to make sure you seek the proper vision for the destiny of your life. Everyday continuously ask for vision of your life and even when people may think you’re crazy just remember your life story isn’t for others to understand.

4. Relationships; Many of us spend so much time in toxic relationships and in return we get bitter, guarded, and etc. However understand sometimes the things we deal with are self-inflicted because you know how you want to be treated. However we tend to stay in these situations and they cost us more time besides the initial invested time because you have to factor in the recovery time and whatever emotional or mental scars we may suffer. We have to learn to be wiser in our mates we choose as well as learning how to learn the lessons from past situations and leaving the toxic of it behind. You can’t accept what may be right before you if you’re focused on the toxic of your past. WE have also have to become better men and women so that the kids coming up can see more families staying together and true love instead of just a momentary thing. The truth is we can’t expect this generation or the next to get better if we never give them something great to model their lives after.

5. Embrace; as this year as came and almost gone one of the most important things I learned personally was the importance of embracing your struggle. Whatever your situation it doesn’t change until you are willing to admit your flaws, your feelings about the situation, and then ask for help from your heavenly father. Tears don’t move anything but admitting and asking can conquer the highest mountain. After all how can you make it through tomorrow if you aren’t willing to accept and overcome the challenges of today? You are strong enough so keep pushing your life is waiting on you.

6. Humble; you know I have really grown to understand the word humble and the elevation that is tied to it. Now a day we see so many boastful people and things but all that isn’t necessary. Your swag as they say today isn’t something that needs to be on display is just a makeup of who you are. Let people see who you are there is no need to boast it when you’re secure with it. You will find that having a humble mindset and heart takes you much farther than anything else will in this life and it will also draw people closer to you. People respond to compassion and caring of one person to another. I say to you carry a humble spirit for you never know who your life is tied to.

7. Mirage; to my ladies and fellows please stop falling for these mirages of reality from what you hear in music and see on t.v.   Live your life in tune with purpose for it is purpose that brings reality and reality will set for revelation to be exalted into your destination in life. All this stuff will come and go no matter how much of it you have so focus on the substance within yourself. If you master you than that’s the greatest gift you will ever receive and all things will come. Just do the dirty work on becoming a better you...

8. Focus: focus on yourself and set goals for yourself. Anybody can just be a part of something but it takes a courageous individual to be different. When you better yourself and strive for a goal then it brings people around that will encourage you to succeed and exposes those who have been a hindrance to you. This will only happen when you decide to stop making excuses and take charge of your life. What we become and what we achieve will always come down to the person in a mirror but also know you become a mixture of the company you keep around you.

9. Role Model: Hmmm this is probably going to be touchy for some of you but like it or not you are role models to someone. Kids have this way I just picking someone to feel this void based of what they perceive. In this day and time a good role model is something we surely lack in our communities. We have to do a better job of presenting our youth with the proper information on how to be men and women. We can’t continue to hit the clubs with them, drinking with them, and etc. we have to give them a sense of accountability to be held at a higher level of manhood and womanhood.

10.    Wonderful life: In has been my pleasure to inspire, motivate, and even at times ruffle some feathers in 2012 with you. At the end of it all just remember be humble, be grateful, love hard, seize the moment, dismiss fear, and conquer the life you envision for yourself. Just know the most wonderful life that can ever be lived will only be done with the assistance of god so make sure he is your rock through actions in your life.

God bless

The Journey

The Journey

Good Morning,

I hope all of you have been well and blessed since my last message. I tell you it has been a crazy week for me and so much revelation. Today I just wanted to talk to you guys from personal experience. A lot of times as we live our lives it’s so much that go on that we often don’t take the time to reflect, but please know that reflection is important. Never reflect in the sense of holding on to something, but more in the sense of appreciation and understanding. Just looking back on what God is doing in my life right now is absolutely amazing to see a vision he gave come together so quickly. However let’s go back to over a year ago when he took me to a point of emptiness and loneliness. During this time the only thing I could hold on to was him because there was so much I was dealing with that my life had become such an overwhelming experience. There were personal issues, family sickness, and the loss of a very close family member all at one time. As I begin to look around all I could see was confusion and chaos in my life. In this moment I realized I had to take some time to myself so I begin to put myself in solitude. Over four months my communication was limited and my interaction was almost nonexistent. Then that day came when I heard him say just as clear as day, “My son your grieving period is over and it’s time to walk. You have stayed true to trying your best to fulfill your purpose and hear the calling on your life. Now move!!” Since that day the only time I look backed was to see the lessons. The Demarkis I once knew was no longer and the man I was destined to be had come forth. As I begin my journey I begin to see changes and shifts in my life. I realized everyone isn’t meant to go on this journey with me. The vision I was given I had to stay true to it and myself. No matter what the circumstance was going on around me I had to stay focused. New friendships were developed and old ones became tighter then ever before. I share this with you because I want everyone to understand the importance of courage. Truth be told there isn’t a right time for anything, but when you walk in faith, expectation, and  being enlighten then you realize at any given time that you have to be willing to embrace the present situation. Many of us get it confused thinking we have to already be in a place to take on situations, but that’s not always the case. You are either already equipped or you will learn on the fly (kind of like on the job training). Your faith is demonstrated in the fact that you’re willing and have the courage to embrace whatever it is and after that it’s all on him. I’ve never understood the position of being fearful of something that is positive and good in your life. As God begin to restore me because understand that’s exactly what I was going through a restoration period. Restoration is a period in which he replenishes that which was taken out of you whether it was by you, someone else, or life. Courage is kind of like the doorway to getting to the next level. What I was shown was the importance of love and what love does in our lives. It takes courage to love, but love is the key to the doorway of life. I mean when you aren’t afraid to love, accept love, and express love then what you will find is the doors of blessings will open. Think about it the most successful people do what they LOVE to do, the most fulfilled people stay true to the LOVE of compassion, the most lasting relationships stayed true to LOVE, and most important the LOVE of God never fails. When I shifted my mind into this way of thinking and no matter what I stayed true to myself, my passion, and my LOVES then life became a lot easier. What happens next is you begin to dig deeper and find out who you really are, what you are really capable of, what your purpose is, and what path you are willing to stay on regardless of what happens around you. There are moments when you feel alone but always know that even in those moments you’re being prepared for the next level. Sometimes in order to hear the rain then you must hear the REIGN. It’s a journey within itself to find yourself and voice but it’s one worth the walk. Many of us live of our lives with the spirit of fear in us everyday and we never reach our potential. We never experience life on the scale God design us to experience it on. We are too fearful of losing something, disappointment, being hurt, unwilling to sacrifice, and even letting some people go out of our lives who are holding us up. The best fall is a free fall because you will either experience the protection of God around you or you will see what he has equipped you with because you just may start flying. As I end this message I tell you embrace your struggle, your past, your present situation, and be willing to elevate yourself and your life. Remember it is all up to you no matter what you miss or experience it’s all of your free will that he granted you with in this life. I pray you gain courage, find wisdom, and implement action into your life because the next level is waiting on you! Make sure you develop vision you can’t get to where you’re going if you can’t see it. What words will describe your journey when it’s all said and done? Think about it…..

Exposed

Exposed

Good evening,

I pray all of you have been well since the last message. This message right here has been on my mind for a couple of days. It took me a minute to write it because I knew it was going to be a powerful message. You know sometimes in our lives things happen, we make mistakes, and some things are just meant to happen. I titled this message “Exposed” because I wanted you to understand the position you are in your life is the position you have allowed yourself to be in. The truth is many of us are holding on to things from our past and at the mere thought of addressing the issue we get very defensive. Some of us act out our ways to seek attention so that we feel acceptance or feel like the spotlight is on us. We also tend to turn away from the very issues we know we have within ourselves just so we don’t have to see how ugly the scar is in the mirror. Well tonight I hope this provides a breakthrough for you because none of those ways will get you to where you want to be in your life. You must understand the most important thing about you lives within you. Therefore in order to receive elevation in your life you must learn how to stand still and strong in the midst of fire. Here is a concept for you; many of us are afraid of fire because we know that it can burn you and cause you bodily harm. However on the other hand depending on how much you really want to be successful and fulfilled in your life as a person. What if you begin to look at fire from the prospective of; it burns the impurities off that which is good! What I’m saying to you is all the things that have happened in your life, all the things you’ve done wrong, and all you may be dealing with now in your life are all impurities. In order to release yourself to a new life and new level of happiness then you have to be willing to expose yourself and see every flaw. Don’t be afraid to let God and yourself see this side of you because at that point that means you are now willing to take on every disappointment, stand up to fear, display humility, and reincarnate the very person you are just by looking at your current state. Once you are able to do that then you can fathom the idea of who you should be and visualize being that person. Once you can see something then you can obtain it, but everything must start with a vision. Exposure isn’t going to kill you and it’s ok to feel some feelings then aren’t of a happy feeling. It’s normal to feel that way however you must stay poised and understand the bigger picture of your life and purpose. You remember getting hurt as a child you would look at the wound and cry out. Once you cried out mama would show up with band-aids and some kind of crème. You would then forget about that wound and go right back to playing even with a visible scar. Well it’s no different now as an adult except when you cry out and show your wound it’s revealed to God and yourself. Just as child you were willing to see the wound and once it was attended to you moved on. Well that same principle applies to you as an adult, by exposing your flaws and wounds this will only enable you to move on.

Quote: The hardest thing for a person to do is to face the flaws of who they are. What we must understand is greatness and fulfillment never starts with a good flaw but by the exposure of our negative flaws so we learn our weakness which is necessary to produce our greatness.  ~d.taylor

The Moment

The Moment

Good Morning,

I hope all of you are doing well since my last message. I tell you this last week has been a week of revelation for me personal, but also there was a profound message I felt compelled to write today.  Often we fail to realize the gift of opportunity that we are blessed with on a daily basis. However many of us fail to capitalize on these moments when they present themselves. Everything that happens in our lives isn’t coincidence, but is truly a rare moment that may open doors to better opportunities for us. The mistake is made when we try to intervene by trying to speed up or slow down the process. Many of us turn away from a grand opportunity that has been a total blessing thus far in our lives because we become consumed with fear. Just because this opportunity may seem too good to be true or even if it’s something that is good for you and you may not have been in the presence of it before shouldn’t make you walk away from it. The truth is you will be tested everyday with some kind of decision, but those moments that you feel in your spirit that have to be made are the ones you can never walk away from in your life. No matter how much we grow in this life, there will never be a perfect time for anything that happens. We look at things from our time prospective not realizing our insight of time is merely just a foot stool in the eyesight of God. You have to be prepared and willing to step in the line of fire when your moment comes because this moment could prepare you for the next. Never be too stubborn or prideful to sacrifice meaningless things in your life for the greater good of your life. Biblical speaking the spirit of fear isn’t a spirit of God so if you’re fearful of an opportunity then it has to be the opposition keeping you from making a decision that could elevate you to the next level. So what will you do when your moment comes? How will you answer the challenge to do better and be better? Will you put it off for fear? Will you embrace the moment of truth and prevail to a new level of life? I hope that when you read this message whatever has happened in the past or present that you’re able to let it go and release yourself from the bondage of it all. Seize your moment when your time comes, for the next time may not ever come.

Quote: Every moment is just a setup for the next moment, but through each moment the key is to gain courage, wisdom, and understanding. This is the only way to execute a successful decision in any moment you face. ~d.taylor

Vision

Vision

Good evening,

It’s my pleasure to speak with you guys again. I tell you it’s been a wonderful week as I embarked on this journey to find more about myself through God’s eyes. I just wanted to take some time to shed some light into you guy’s life. Often times we can’t seem to reach our goals or break away from the negatives in our lives. What you must understand is that in any season a vision has to be given, but also in that same breath you personally have to birth a vision of yourself. If you can’t produce a vision then how can you expect to obtain it in your future? Maybe no one has ever told you or maybe you overlooked it, but there is a process that goes with obtaining your vision. The first step is actually having the vision followed by immediate conversation with God in understanding the vision. Second step is to write it down because any goal or vision should be written down (Habakkuk 2:2) in preparation for the manifestation of that vision. Third which is the most important part is get confirmation from God and make sure your vision matches his will for you. The greatness that lies within you can’t be measured, but we often sell ourselves short because we can only see ourselves doing so much. However the greatness in you is meant to produce a harvest, but if you never line yourself up with it you then you’ll never receive it. Don’t be kryptonite to your vision; you can do this so easily by allowing yourself to intervene when things are going good or simply by not understanding where you are in your life at this present moment. When I say understanding where you are that simply means exposing yourself to yourself and owning every flaw you have. You can’t improve on something you cant admit to, you can’t produce or receive vision without confronting yourself first, and you can’t obtain God’s vision of you until you’re willing to allow him to see you as you are besides he already knows. Once you admit to it then it shows humility and humility is the beginning phase of exaltation. I tell you we have so much power and all it takes is such simple things to use them and apply it to our daily lives. Before I go I must say please know this vision message goes two ways. Every vision isn’t good vision (Jeremiah 23:9) so be careful who you let speak a vision in your life and even your own vision can be your own ambition more so then a vision for your life which is that of God. As I end this message I know a good friend lil preacher boy is reading this message and smiling, so to you lil preacher boy I say thanks its all coming together.

Quote: Solitude is your best friend. It forces you to think and address the issues of your life. You have to be able to see yourself in your most humble form to appreciate the vision of what you can become. Humility produces the fruit of dedication and preparation which eventually leads to manifestation of your life.

Trendy

Trendy

Good Evening,

I was very hesitant to write this message, however I felt it was something that needed to be exposed. First off I hope you don’t take offense to this message and I understand the topic and context of the message. Let me ask you a question, Do you find yourself being a person of trends? I think we lose a lot of our peers and especially the younger generation to trends. Everyone is so caught up in what’s the hot thing right now or the newest trend which ultimately leads to a permanent distraction in your life. I’m not referring to fashion trends, but even those are some we need to be careful with as well. For example partaking in drugs, the girl on girl action, and etc these seem to be things that are viewed more as cool nowadays in our society. It’s in every thing we see in main stream media and even the music we listen to. I can totally see how unconsciously someone could get caught up in these trends or any trend for that matter. We have to be smarter then the average person and separate ourselves from what everyone else is doing. The fact that you may need to pull away doesn’t make you weak or lame, but it just means you care and want more out of your life. Trends are things that are very temporary and of the moment so why would you want to tie yourself or your identity to something temporary?! No matter what’s hot in society your mindset has to be strong enough to know what, when, and how to tie yourself into certain things. Truth of the matter is some trends can lead you down a path that may seem innocent and fun at the moment. However that very same trend will turn out to be a path that causes you to lose very valuable time in your life. Time is precious because it’s something you can’t get back once it’s gone nor do you know how much of it you have. In order to go down the path you desire and be successful like you desire then you have to know that only permanent things can be allowed in your life. I don’t know anyone who wants to always lean on temporary(trends) over and over again. This behavior gets you absolutely no where, but creates an identity in which you continuously look for approval from others. When you start seeking that kind of approval then you’re headed in a wasteful direction. The next time you find yourself tempted to engage in the latest trend, stop and ask yourself is this temporary thing worth my precious time and energy?!

Quote: No matter what the trend is you must remind smart because every thing you do and every step you take needs to be like concrete with every step.

Victory

Victory

Good Evening,

It’s amazing how God works sometimes. His ability to orchestrate a conversation in which it lead me to write this powerful message to you. Every message that I’ve written has come from a thought or conversation, but what makes the message legitimate is the shift in my spirit I get when putting the context of the message together. Tonight I wanted to talk with you about Victory. One of our members and a close friend of mine who goes by the name of Christopher “Cash” Washington always say, “Distraction is Distortion”. The context of quote is simple, but the impact of it is amazing. We spend so much time looking back at the past or remembering horrific events that happened in our own or others lives, However what we fail to realize is how that plays into the enemy’s hand. We must realize when an obstacle has been overcome then there is no need to hold on to the struggle, but embrace the victory. Once you embrace the victory then it allows God to give you clarity. This clarity leads to the elevation of your life and individual wisdom. The process doesn’t stop there because you have only begun the journey of exhalation. In order to reach this pinnacle in your life, its simple the wisdom you have gained must be applied to your daily life.  Now you become a vessel of purpose and this will create a dynamic so powerful that anyone who crosses your path will be touched by your presence. The mind is such a vital organ to your physical and spiritual enhancement in life. You have to understand that you can’t allow it to stay in one place to long. When this happens you begin to entertain thoughts that may jeopardize to unnecessary exposure. We all know that everything with God happens in time. If you’re at a stand still mentally then you delay your destiny as well as those in which you were meant to help to start their journey. Don’t sell yourself short instead stand on the victory and move forward.

Quote: Your victory opened the door for my victory because both victories were needed to help us reach our individual destiny. ~d.taylor
